Ah, Fresh Pavement

A new restaurant is being built across the street from where I work. They finished the asphalt in the parking lot the other day*. There were some street youths skateboarding through the new parking lot and I wondered if they felt the same way about fresh asphalt as snowboarders felt about "fresh powder". Though I can't imagine anyone wanting to make asphalt angels.

* "the other day", is a pretty vague statement. It means it was any day other than the current one. Truthfully it was about five years ago
